Pine Lakes Campground Family Biking Western Reserve Greenway The Western Reserve Greenway is a 43 mile out and back trail located near Warren, Ohio and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. This property was once the USRA 714 rail line but was closed in 1976. It is now leased to the Ashtabula County Metroparks. Although its formal name is "The Western Reserve Greenway," it is also loosely referred to as the Trail, or the Greenway, or the Greenway Trail.

The Western Reserve Greenway bicycle trail is between the town of Austinburg, to the north in Ashtabula county, to Mosquito Lake State Park in the south in Trumball county. Pine Lakes Campground is located in Orwell Ohio a little below/south of the midway point of the Western Reserve Greenway. We are located minutes from the trail by bike. The trail is flat and smooth and the trail is mostly shaded, but there are some parts out in the open .
